Drop by for a piece of cake and a cup of coffee to celebrate the Messenger Index's 125th Anniversary, during our Open House, Friday, Nov. 2 between 1-5 p.m.

Holiday Food Drive kick-off is Nov. 2

Drop off food donations from 1-5 p.m. at the Messenger Index

A Holiday Food Drive will be held from 1-5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2, to kick-off the holiday season food drives for those in need. All food collected will be distributed to the community through the Emmett Valley Friendship Coalition programs. These include a weekly pantry and community dinner.

Consider filling your bag with a variety of non-perishable food items such as dry cereals, hearty soups/chili, canned fruits or vegetables, peanut butter and/or pasta or rice. Please deliver food items in boxes or bags. There will be someone to help between 1 and 5 p.m.

Also drop by the MI office at the same time and enjoy a piece of cake celebrating the Messenger Index's 125th Anniversary. The MI also assists as a drop off point for items donated to the Emmett Lyons, Emmett Public Library, Emmett Friendship Coalition, Kiwanis Club of Emmett, Valor Health which includes diapers, essentials, food, toys, warm clothing and winter coats.
