2nd Annual Idaho Renaissance Faire

Everyone is welcome to the Second Annual Idaho Renaissance Faire, October 13-14th at the Gem Island Sports Complex! This year we are proud to present performances from The Fool Squad from the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Guess When, The Fleet Street Klezmer Band, Beltane, Brian Sapphire and Insert Foot Theater. We will have games, activities and demonstrations for the whole family including the Scottish American Athletic Association, The SCA (Socitey for Creative Anachronism), medieval armor and metalsmithing, costume displays and the daVinci Center, a place for kids and adults to learn more about the Arts of the Renaissance! Watch for roving performances from Emmett High School musicians, the Grand Procession of the King and Queen on horseback and be sure to catch a ride on a miniature horse-drawn cart. And for the first time, we will have Live Jousting provided by local members of the SCA. Merchants and food vendors will satisfy your Renaissance tastebuds and urge to shop, so make plans to join us in celebrating the Renaissance Age in Idaho!
