Event Description:

Come see the premier event for the Gem/Boise County 4-H Horse members!  These two days of pre-fair shows are the final step in the 4-H Horse project and a chance for members to show what they have learned throughout the year!   Everyone is welcome to watch any and all of the shows!  Shows are held in the rodeo arena on the Gem County Fairgrounds.  Come sit underneath the shade in the grandstands and cheer on our kids!

The schedule of events is as follows:

Monday, July 29

8:00 AM – Horse Show Presentation of Colors and Pledges

8:30 AM  - Horse Showmanship

Western Equitation

LUNCH

Reining

RIDING Trail (Senior, Junior 1 and Junior 2)

English Equitation  

*5:00 PM – Adult horse Showmanship judged by 4-H horse members

 

Tuesday, July 30:

8:00 AM - 4-H Horse Parade of Clubs 

8:30 AM Hunter Hack

Equitation Over Fences

Walk Trot Equitation

Walk Trot Snaffle Bit

Green Horse Class

Bareback Equitation

Western Riding

3:00 PM – Horse Gymkhana (Games & Speed Events)

5:00 PM  -  Horse Awards Presentation
