Family History Fair

Are your great-grandparents lost? Would you like to find them and learn about their lives? We have new technology education to assist your search. On Saturday, February 22, 2014 a Family History Fair is to be held featuring RootsTech Webinars. The theme for the Fair is ?Connecting Your Family ? Past, Present and Future?. The time for the Fair is from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The Fair will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building located at 980 West Central Road. There is no charge to attend and everyone is welcome. The webinars include: how to start your family tree, how to break down genealogical brick walls using Tweets, Links, Pins and Posts, effective database search tactics, using social media to connect with those lost cousins and preserving your family stories. We are also offering a class to explain the concepts and methods used in applying DNA results to genealogy pursuits. After the Fair the Family History Center, staffed with well trained consultants, is available to help answer any questions.
