Event Description:

Join Lance Phillips, Gem Orchards owner/operator on either November 18th or November 19th in Emmett at the Idaho Pizza Company for the 2022 Pruning Course and beginner fruit tree management training. Come get lunch as early as 11:30. Class begins promptly at 12 pm. The course is $35 per person including lunch. The course will include a 1-1/2 hour class room discussion on growing successful fruit trees, then a field pruning hands on application where we will prune a variety of types and ages of trees. Bring your pruners, saws and warm weather clothes as Lance teaches hands on techniques learned through his 35 years and more than 80k trees pruned. 40 spots each day are available and pre-registration is required through the Gem County Chamber of Commerce.
